We meet many people out on the road. Here is little Sadiya who burned both hands so badly, with older sister Sumaiya who we now sponsor for school, with their Mum.
In the afternoon the schoolgirls did a fantastic concert for us at the Literacy Centre.
What a birthday! It began with celebrations and special food at both Rosey Foundation and Jiboner Asha work groups.
Kids at work in our playgroup class this morning.
Rosey chatting with the girls of Jiboner Asha group and planning my birthday meal tomorrow – actually the day will be somewhat of an ordeal: at least three major celebrations, a song and dance routine and a large quantity of cheap, ‘small’ shirts that I have to squeeze into every hour or so. And its so hot here just now! Bless them all. Just want to get through the day and leave everyone happy. Mike.
With Rehana’s family.
Wherever we go there’s a smile and a welcome.
Sharing lunch with Selina and family. Who needs a table?
Mahi, Janet and Farjana. Three little girls very pleased to see us again.
We have helped several of our girls to get glasses recently. Close-up embroidery work soon shows up any weakness. Nasima is the latest to get her eyes tested and here she is with her new specs’ today!
